A wonderful opportunity to extend your summer and enjoy some Autumn sunshine and yoga in Greece on the unspoiled island of Antiparos.  This small, picturesque island in the heart of the Cyclades is renowned for its distinctive beauty and offers a lovely quiet environment to immerse yourself in yoga and meditation and eat delicious local cuisine.  You will return home feeling recharged and rejuvenated.
"I just returned from Antiparos after my 4th yoga retreat with Jeff. As usual it was just the right mix of yoga, meditation and mindful stillness - all practiced with a great group of like minded yogis. Jeff has a very natural ability and his easy playful style of teaching encourages the best out of his students. I loved it and returned home feeling amazing after a week of yoga in Greece".  Julie

The Venue

You  will stay in stunning apartments with comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms and doors that open out onto a beautiful terrace, just a 5-minute stroll from a  secluded stretch of sandy beach. the island offers over 60km of stunning shoreline and is blessed with crystalline emerald waters, golden sandy beaches and other extraordinary natural wonders such as the famous Cave of Antiparos.
The main village of Antiparos with its narrow, cobbled stone alleyways and streets, white-washed houses decorated with thriving pink and purple bougainvilleas and shadowy eucalyptus trees, is also within a 10-minute walking distance. See more details of the accommodation here
The Yoga
The long morning practice will be a dynamic, creative, playful and explorative ‘deep slow flow’ asana practice and will include meditation and pranayama.  By emphasizing the breath, mindfulness & skillful action and building up through a range of appropriate options – students, from the less experienced to the more advanced, will discover how to work peacefully at the level appropriate to them.
The afternoon session will be a mellower, soothing and nurturing practice, delving into areas such as yin yoga, restoratives, pranayama, chakras, yoga nidra and meditation.  This will totally bliss you out!
We finish in time to watch the sun go down and maybe even indulge a sunset swim.  This is the perfect venue for a yoga retreat in Greece.

Jeff has lots of experience teaching students of all levels. His depth of understanding, playful approach, ability to challenge students to safely explore their edge and his love of pranayama and meditation will give you the perfect opportunity to deepen your practice both physically and internally.

Things To Do
There is plenty of free time between yoga sessions to relax on the beach and soak up the sunshine,  explore the island, make new friends, or just take some quiet time for yourself.
Massages are available on site and we will have one afternoon off yoga which you can choose to enjoy to yourself or join us for a walk or boat ride.
Bikes are available to hire for the week for 25 euros and are a great way to explore the island.

We will be staying in the stunning Glaros studios apartments.  All are ensuite, open out onto a lovely terrace  with sea views and are  are no more than 100 metres from the sea and a secluded stretch of sandy beach.
There are options of twin and triple sharing apartments and some limited singles.
If  all apartments get fully booked there is also the option to stay in similar standard accommodation a 5 minute cycle ride away.

A light  breakfast of fresh juice, fruit and tea  will be available before morning yoga and a delicious and substantial brunch afterwards.  Tea and snacks will be available in the afternoon.
A couple of dinners will be taken at Glaros and the rest we will go out to a variety of local tavernas, guided by our host Susanne who spends her summers on this stunning island.  Dinners out are included in the cost of the retreat.

What My Students Say

A week away from being taught Yoga asana, meditation, pranayama, chanting and Yoga Nidra by the most amazing and authentic Yoga teacher, next to the sea in the Greek sunshine. Eating delicious food, sharing stories, ice creams, and so much laughter. What is there not to love? Thank you, Jeff, for a fabulous week of yoga in Greece, I loved every minute. As a Yoga teacher myself, it was such a treat to be taught by someone who teaches with such love and passion it radiates outwardly. Five hours on my mat each day being lead through such a wonderful practice was perfect, I loved being the student. Thank you

I have done a lot of retreats (over 20!) and your yoga retreat in Greece was honestly right up there... firstly for your top teaching, but also for the lovely place and the great Greek food. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the sea warm and so many beaches easy to reach.

A particular word on the yoga though: it was challenging but you always gave alternatives so no one found it impossible, plenty to learn even for the more expert. What I really liked was the imagery and the metaphor, quite original to you, which accompanied every pose, made us smile and helped each of us to ‘find our edge’!
I have rediscovered my shoulders and a sense of deep calm pervades... I’m safely back from Antiparos, feeling a million dollars! Loved it all.

I just returned from Antiparos after my 4th yoga retreat with Jeff. As usual it was just the right mix of yoga, meditation and mindful stillness - all practiced with a great group of like minded yogis. Jeff has a very natural ability and his easy playful style of teaching encourages the best out of his students. I love it and returned home feeling amazing. Cant wait for my 5th retreat which will be in Goa!
